i want to say a word about creativity & originality.
smitten photography has been a labor of love that was born from passion & a dream that started many years ago. as i have poured hundreds of hours into marketing my company as something different...something fun. fresh. real... i have also spent a lot of time helping other people pursue passions of their own, be it photography or any other dream that they might have. i will not stop doing this. it is in my nature to help others see dreams come to fruition. many of the greatest joys i have experienced in my life have come from watching others succeed. i am not in this profession to seek praise, but to bring joy to others & share my passion & creativity through my camera lens.
with that being said, if you are reading this blog, i am so glad you are here! this has been a way for me to share my work, both professionally & personally in a way that allows my clients & potential clients to know me on a deeper level than just being their photographer. i have never turned down a single person or another photographer that has emailed me with questions about my equipment, style, how i got started, shooting tips, etc. i get several of those a week, sometimes. so, all that to say: please don't rip off my work, my likeness, my writing or my signature style. my clients choose to use me because i am different and thats because i have set out to be different.
